Stock Trading

Does anyone know of a "stock trading" program (with signals) that is
freeware? Not concerned with "making a million", just would like to
review them. Thank you.

these won't pick stocks for you but feature charting programs with
multiple oscillators and indicators, as well as the ability (on some)to
set up and review watch lists using your favorite setups. Also have
Screeners. Free versions with registration on the first two.

www.prophet.net (free version has free 15-min delayed price feed)
www.quotetracker.com (intraday as well as interday)
www.stockcharts.com
www.barchart.com
finance.yahoo.com (link to technical analysis)

Additionally, www.stockfetcher.com, an outstanding, relatively
inexpensive screening/charting service which I subscribe to also has a 5-
day old free version which still lets you play around with varous
price, volume, and algorithmic signal relational setups as well as a
helpful forum.

Thank you. I'm familiar with all except Prophet, but I think they ask
for too much info, including phone, even for the "free" version. I
guess what I'm looking for is something that throws off "signals" for a
stock that either the software or I choose. I appreciate your help!

Al,

I really love a tool called Eclipse Trader
<http://eclipsetrader.sourceforge.net/>. It's a "technical" trading
program, but has some truly amazing features. It's a plug-in for the
Eclipse framework (basically a Java IDE), but you don't have to be a
programmer to use it.

Enjoy!
