Still image focus

Finally finished my movie. Still images with transitions
and music. When my photos transition from one image to
the next it doesn't imediately focus. Half way between
the next image it focuses and does the same on each
image. Is this common?

I am not sure I understand where you use the phrase Focus. Could you
describe the problem with a bit more detail.

Perhaps focus is not the correct word. When my
transition from one photo to the next is complete the
photo looks pretty good. But after a second, the image
visibly sharpens. Kind of like a movie camera on auto
focus that brings things in sharper when you finally stop
on an object.

What format are you saving the video too, DV-AVI or WMV ?

How long are the transitions?

What Computer are you running on, how much ram, cpu etc.
