Still Cant install XP home

I tryed the advice that I was given previously, thanks
guys for that, taught me a thing or two. But after
booting from the xp disk, formatting the drive, that went
fine, but it got to installing the files and problems
started, on various files install was stoped because it
could not install the file, this happend on a few files(i
had to skip them) and then was presented with the same
error, IRQL memory address thing, i am thinking that the
hard drive is corrupt it seems that all these errors
point to something hardware related, any advice

Do you know what type of hard drive you have? If it is a Westerern
Digital, you can go to their website and download utilities to check for
bad hard drives.

YOu may also want to open you case up and reseat your memeory and check
the plugs on the motherboard and hard drive.
