Sticky Keys Problem

Got an unusual problem in that the function key has switched round. If I dont
hold the function key down it types odd characters and if I do hold the
function key down I can type normally. I have checked stickykeys but this is
switched off. Has anyone got any ideas how I can get my keyboard operating
properly again

There's an led turned on above the keyboard.. Press the Fn key and the
proper key that has blue text, and you'll toggle that function off. I
don't have a laptop, but remember reading about this; can't remember any
more details though.
