Status Bar Panel Sizing

I have two labels on a status bar.
I try changing the width of lbl1 in the designer, but it just resets back to
its original width.
If the text in lbl1 gets wider, it moves lbl2 to the right.
How do I prevent this?

Hi,

Make sure your statusbar panel autosize property is set to none.
