Status Bar color changed

My status bar changed color from the standard white to
powder blue. I did not do this and can not figure out how
to change it back. There is no tab for it in the
appearance settings or in I.E. view that I can find.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good chance you have installed spyware! Not a pleasant thought. The
change in appearance of a browser is another classic symptom of
spyware, adware, parasites, etc. This NG has several recent
recommendations of 4-5 freeware programs to clean this up.

If you get this cleaned up and if you don't understand the use of
HOSTS files, then go to this site and study it. Proper use of a a
HOSTS file will save your bacon!
