stationary changed to double spacing

Please help. I am using the stationary called Clear Day in Outlook. It has
always been single spaced then changed to double spacing. I can change this
after I open a new message by clicking on the Format - Styles - and change it
from Paragraph to Normal, but I don't want to do that. Please someone,
explain why the change and what I can do to change this back.

Change any hard line breaks (ENTER) to soft line breaks (SHIFT+ENTER).
