is it possible to change the startup noise in windowsxp
because i hate that dull sound when xp starts up
is there any way to change it into some kind of techno tune

Start / Control Panel.

Click Sounds and Audio Devices.

Choose the Sounds tab.

Enjoy!

Do a search for *.wav on your Xp drive. Click on the
sounds. You can change any of them: i.e. rename Windows XP
Startup.wav to bWindows XP Startup.wav (if you want to
keep it) and if you see SOUND1.WAV which is a pinball
shot, copy it to place of startup & rename it so it is
used. Experiment. Have fun This thing is a toy for grown
ups too. If anyone has a .wav that sounds like a one armed
bandit, I'd like a copy for my Xp startup.
