Every time I boot up my Windows System32 folder opens, I have checked as best
I can every startup folder mechanism and can find nothing to cause this. I
have also run a spyware and antivirus scans to see if there is anything that
may cause this.

Any ideas, TIA

Thanks but unfortunately that did not work, message from VBS install stating
that I do not have that registry value
 
Ok, Here is a link to the MS KB about the problem with System32 window
opening at startup.

Basically you had a program that was opening, probably malware of some sort
that was removed. It left some remains in the windows registry for the run
at startup. Basically it looks for the file which was in system32 and can't
find it so it stops on the step that it opens system32. You need to follow
the instructions in the KB closely and make a backup of your registry before
you start to tinker with it. Just run File > Export and save it to your
desktop or c:\ drive. Good Luck

In Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/View - Make sure that Restore
previous folder windows at logon is uncheced. Also:

Verify that all the values in these keys do not contain any incorrect,
incomplete, or null entries (such as ""). Also make sure that all entries
that have spaces are included within quotes. These values can be checked
here: Start/Run/Regedit

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

This can be caused by a blank entry, such as can be left behind by
an incomplete program removal, in the
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and/or
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run keys. It can also
be caused by an entry in these same keys that starts with a " / ."
