startup script

Hi all

I would like to run some command when the machine is up. I try to add a
startup script ( xxx.bat file ) by using the GPO and assign it to some of
the workstation. No workstation is run the script when they are up.

Anyone know why?

I am pretty sure that you need to use either a vbscript (.vbs) or javascript
(.js) when implementing logon scripts via group policies.

If you want to use .bat or .cmd files, you need to specify these under the
user account, profile tab in Active Directory.
