startup restarts pc - HELP PLZ

when i start up my pc everything works properly up until
the users screen. Once i enter my password my desktop shows
up and a few seconds later my pc restarts. I tried ending
processes to see if there is a program that is restarting
my pc but it restarts still. NEED HELP ASAP, have written a
14 page essay on my pc that i need but can't get.
