I hope this isn't the 3rd
I can't seem to find a satisfactiry answer to this
question:
WinXP/SP2:

Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Information:

Software Environment/Startup Programs:

There are literally thousands of exes,dlls,inis, and
maybe more listed there. Is this normal and necessary?
If not, how do I improve the situation?

I have all of 16! and I reconize them all.
You might want to scam for scumware.
