Startup Problems win2k server

Hello,

After rebooting a win2k server, the server sits for a very
long time (4 hrs or more) whilst the screen
titled "Applying Computer Settings" is diaplayed. The
logon screen will eventually appear to press ctrl+alt+del.
After inputting the username and password the server then
displayes the screen titled "Loading your personal
settings". It never gets any further than this screen. All
of the background services are working with no problems
and no errors are displayed in the event logs. I cannot
find any information on this speceific problem in the KB.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Usually a DNS-problem. How many nics in the server? Is DNS on the nic(s)
pointing to your server-IP?
