When i Startup 30% of the time it good it will startup in under 30secs thats
taskbar asell. But other times it will Pause at Motherboard Main logo at
start or prompt me to select a startup sequence eg, Safe Mode; Last Good
Know startup Point; Normal.
when using "Last Good Know startup point" it starts up great. It may also
stop at the Windows XP Loading Bar.
Can Someone help me with this issue?
I have looked at slow loading but that dont seem to be my problem.

Also my comp may crash or fail to shutdown after i imedatly stop a program
or i was still connected to internet, dont know if this is a symptom or a
diff problem?

My comp Specs:

Windows XP Pro
MSi K8N Diamond 939
64bit AMD3.8 Ghz 939
1Gb Ram
Maxtor HD
Nvidia Geforce4 Chipset
Nvidia 7 Series Graphics Card

I Would Appreciate if any one could give any Links or advice or a solution.
Thanks

Could be a driver problem. Try this

Run msconfig.exe
select the BOOT.INI tab
select the "/SOS" box

Apply and reboot. This will show you more than just the "idiot light"
startup screen. You will see the drivers as they are loaded. Check to see
which one is displayed when the pauses occur. You may have to uninstall or
update that driver.

Try booting in safe mode and see if you still get the pauses.

Incidentally, I have all my machine boot with the /SOS option all the time.
It doesn't slow things down and I like the feedback.
