Startup mystery

Recently I have started getting a desktop.ini - Notepad window with
the following:

[.ShellClassInfo]
LocalizedResourceName=@%SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll,-21787

when I start my computer with XP. Can someone please tell me why I'm
getting this and how I can get rid of it. Many thanks.
