Startup Loop

I recently rebooted my machine and it continuosly cycle
through the startup screens now. It does the initial
splash screen (Intel), then moves to the Windows XP
screen with the cycling bar indicator then moves to a
blank screen that flashes 'Invalid Scan Freq." briefly
and then runs through this process again. I am unable to
do a safe mode boot as it runs through this process as
well. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

Try a repair install:
Boot from the XP cd, and when prompted hit enter to begin setup. Press F8 to
accept the license agreement. It will then search and find your existing XP
install. Select it, and choose R for repair. Back up any important data
files in case something goes wrong.
