Startup Home Page in Access 2007

I have an Access database built in Access 2003. I was able to set up a start
page form that opens when the database is selected. I did some modifications
to the database including some form name changes. Now when I open the
database, I get an error message that the form names is misspelled or
corrupted. How do I find the fault and change the previous form name to the
new name.

Any help will be appreciated.
 
from the database window, click Tools | Startup on the menu bar, and change
the startup form name in the dialog box.

Thanks for the quick reply but I am using Access 2007 and can find no
reference to Startup on the menu bar. Access 2007 has a totally different
menu setup from earlier versions, this one has a "Ribbon" type of menu. It
does offer a number of options but none of them relate to the "Startup" that
I remember from earlier versions. Are you familiar with this version and do
you know what it would be called in this version?

Again, thanks and if you have any further thoughts, I would appreciate
hearing from you.

Hi Ed,

1. Click the Microsoft Office Button (upper left corner)
2. Click the Access Options button (near bottom right corner of Office menu)
3. Click the Currrent Database category on left side
4. The Startup form option is near the top
5. Select your startup form from the combo box
6. Click OK to save and close Access Options dialog box.

Viola!

i keep forgetting how different menus can be in A2007, sorry! i shouldn't
answer these questions at all, because i don't have A2007.

Thanks! Your suggestions were right on. I made the changes and the database
works as it should. Now I only need a way to put the database icon on the
desktop and go directly to the particular database and have it open to my
"Data Center" home page. I should be able to do that also.

Hello Tina,

Don't stop trying to help those of us who get lost in our projects. I am
quite sure you are right much more than you are wrong. Also, sometimes even
when you may be wrong, you will give us ideas we can use for the problem at
hand or later on.
