Thanks for the reply. I am confused on a couple of points.
I found the Startup file where you directed me to look. Hidden file
is turned on. The only fle in the startup folder is a file for a
program I run called e-clean. However, e-clean does not start up when
I boot up. Other programs like Skype, Roboform and Google desktop do
run at startup. Help!?
Also, the startup folder does not appear on the Start menu. The help
files for my version of Vista (Home Premium) appear to say it should
be there. Here is an excerpt:
"Run a program automatically when Windows starts:
"If you always open the same programs after starting your computer,
such as a web browser or e-mail program, you might find it convenient
to have them start automatically when you start Windows. Programs or
shortcuts placed in the Startup folder will run whenever Windows
starts.
"Click the Start button, click All Programs, right-click the Startup
folder, and then click Open...."
