Startup Errors

I been getting a startup error for the past few weeks and I tried a few
things to solve my problems. I started by using msconfig to eliminate
programs that may be causing the error and I couldn't figure out which was
causing it.

I finally looked in the Event viewer and found something similar to the
error message that pops up on startup.

Here is the full error message from the Event Viewer:

I looked at that website and the only thing that looked like my problem was
posted by Thomas Blatt, which said to reinstall Windows Installer 3.1
redistributable v2.

I went to Microsofts website searched for this program, downloaded it and
installed it, but still got the error upon starting my computer.

What else can I do?

Thanks for your time and help,
Chris
