Startup and shutdown problem

On startup I get the following error message."msdtc.exe
has generated errors and will bne closed by windows. You
will need to restart the program." Click"OK" and system
seems to run normally. Upon attempt to shut the computer
down and off the shutdown sequence loops back to a
restart. Where can I find what and where (msdtc.exe) is?
I have searched my hard drive and cannot find it. Is this
related to the shut off failure? Any help will be
appreciated.

Google for "msdtc.exe" (use the quotes). One of the hits
may give you a clue.
