The pop3 information is inherent to your isp and/or the service providing the email account.

Please provide your o/s, service pack level, type of email account(your isp, hotmail, yahoo, google etc).
- do not post your email address

Free Yahoo accounts do not work in Windows Mail.

Get a gmail, hotmail or live account and set that up.

Free Yahoo accounts do not work in Windows Mail.

Unless you live in Australia (don't know if any other countries are
the same) in which case you can set up Free Yahoo to work in Windows
Mail as described here (it describes Outlook Express but Windows mail
is the same):-

Free Yahoo accounts are pop3 capable in some countries and not others....In the U.S., it requires a Yahoo Plus account to function.
