Starting Word 2007

Help!!!

I installed Office 2007 about a month ago. I started to have a problem when
Windows did the automatic update because of old HP scanner driver components
that I couldn't get rid of when I uninstalled it. I restored the system to
before the Windows update and now everytime I try to start Word 2007 Windows
Installer starts up. Word will start eventually when Installer finishes
doing whatever it's doing. I have no problem starting Excel 2007. How can I
keep Windows Installer from starting when I try to start Word 2007?

Have you tried running "Diagnose" from "Start button"/Word Options/Resources?
