Just applied Service Pack 4 on Windows 2000 Professional.
Now when I try to boot, my system stops with the "Applying
Security Policies...." message. The drive continues to
blip intermittantly, but I cannot get past that point. If
I need to uninstall the Service Pack, how can I do that if
I cannot even get to the logon screen?
