Starting Program Always asks for Password

I think something in XP Professional on my machine has been reset.

Whenever I try to open a program now it brings up a screen asking me for my login password..What an annoyance?

When do I go to disable this from happening?

oug thats brilliant and the file fixed the problem for a friend of mune, but
I'd still be very interested to know what it is that causes this issue, or at
least whats done to fix it.
