start up

When I first switch on my PC, it has become very slow to start up. I have
been told this is because I have a lot of programs which need to start at the
same time. If I were to disable a few of them (that I don't often use) my
start up could be quicker. Unfortunately, it is a long time since I have done
that, and I can't remember how to get into the list that shows all the listed
programs at start up.
Could someone please remind me???

Click start/run, type msconfig and click ok.
