I always leave a floppy in drive A as a backup but when I
start up it always goes to drive A and hangs up until I
remove the floppy. How can I get the system to access
drive C first during startup as i have been doing on
older versions?

Set the boot order in cmos setup.

I think the best option is change the boot order on the
BIOS of your equipment.

If this doesn't work, you can make the disk bootable as
in the article "How to Create a Bootable Disk for an NTFS
or FAT Partition"
