I have been asked by a friedn to fix their son's computer. It is a laptop
from Dell, Latitude D600 model, can't say much more as can't access it.

On start up the laptop requests ctr alt del to logon. Once logon is entered,
it automatically starts logging off before dektop is visable and goes back to
the log screen.
I have tried the simple stuff, F8, start with last good known configuration
etc but no joy.

Any ideas how to get around this.
