Start up problem

Explorer tries to open 2 windows on start up. Can someone
please tell me how to avoid this as i don't use the
automatic net connection on start up facility?

1. start, run, "msconfig", OK
2. check selective startup
3. go to the "startup" tab
4. uncheck any entries you don't need.
5. close out, reboot when asked. see if the windows went away.
