Hi,
I have Windows XP Home edition
When i start my computer, it starts up and while doing
that it restarts itself again and then sometimes it does
a disk check, some times it doesnt and then it ends up
loading up and it tells me that it had to retreive some
file from the system recovery. Its some sort of a glitch.
Some times an error message appears on the desktom right
after it loads up from startup and it says something
like "Your computer has recovered from a serious error."
When i go to see the info on the error it says it might
be a driver problem or some missing registry file.

What do you think is wrong,
I would like my comp to start up from the first time
perfectly, instead of itself rebooting itself and then
loading up perfectly on the second try.

Thank

Hi,

Try disable the restart feature. You will receive a BSOD and post back the error message.

Right click My Computer/Properties/Advanced/
Click the settings button in the Startupsand Recovery area and uncheck the box "automatically restart".
