Start up Outlook the message, "the add-in "C:\program1\mcafee.com.

When I start up Outlook I receive the message, "the
add-in'C:\program1\mcafee.com\vso\outscan.dll" cpuld not be installed or
loaded. I have since removed all Mcafee programs from my computer and I am
still receiving this message. How can I get rid of this message when I start
up Outlook.

Phil,

Looks like Outlook still sees it. Try this...

Go to Tools-Options-Other-Advanced options then select Add-in Manager..
In that you may see a Mcafee setting. If so remove the checkmark.

I had the same problem come up and found your response. Do I need to remove
the McAfee programs and re-install to get it to work properly?
