start up files

How can I keep certain programs from loading when I either
reboot or turn my computer on. On Windows XP I use
MSCONFIG, but for some reason I cant use MSCONFIG in
Windows 2000.

MSconfig is not included in Windows 2000. But you can copy
MSconfig.EXE from XP to 2000 and it will work just fine.
