Start---Turn off computer

My mouse clicking of "Start" "turn off computer" is very sensitive just
lately. I have to be very careful to stay in the blue area or the start menu
will disappear.

I must have changed some mouse setting. I do have Tweak UI for XP.

Can I turn this down a little so I can be lazy in going between "Start" and
"turn off computer," cutting the corner a little like I used to be able to
do.

All I can think of, is turn the motion speed down on the mouse.
If it is too fast it gets tricky to handle.

Control Panel --> Mouse --> Pointer Options

Tweakui, Mouse, set hover time to 400ms and sensitivity to 2
