I have the customization set to start with outlook today
(went through the whole "regedit") and every time I open
Outlook 2000 it comes up with the Inbox instead. Any
suggestions to make it do what it's supposed to??

TOOLS:OPTIONS:OTHER:ADVANCED

in the "STARTUP IN THIS FOLDER" and select OUTLOOK TODAY.

It's already set to start up in Outlook Today through
that...and it still comes up in the Inbox.

Do you have a shortcut set to open it in the inbox? You can create a shortcut
to force Outlook Today -
Add the /select outlook:today switch to an outlook shortcut:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Outlook.exe" /select outlook:today
