For some reason now when I type "REGEDIT" or "CMD" in the run box I get this
error message"The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction. CS:055e
IP:ffe4 OP:fe 1d 09 8b" What gives? and how do I fix?

Oh yeah, read another post about this, tried everything in it and no luck! It
works if I type regedit.exe in the run box. There is no REGEDIT.COM file on
my computer, I tried the clean boot, and I went to trend Micro and did the
scan, it did find a worm, cleaned and re-scanned and still nothing!

Brian,

Do a search for REGEDIT*. The bogus file may be present within your user
profile folder, or somewhere else. If found (with a .com extension usually),
simply delete it and follow-up with a thorough scan for malware.
