1. Click on the start button and then select the Run feature.
2. Under the Open field which displays next type "regedit" without the
quotation
marks.
3. Browse to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Current
Version/Explorer/RunMRU key.
4. Highlight the RunMRU key and within the left hand pane of the registry
editor
one should find the cached text placed in as String Values. The String
values
usually with correspond in a matter such as A through Z , ect. Delete all
the
string values under this key and the cached entries should be removed
completely.
5. Close the registry editor.

On the left pane, navigate to the start menu -> programs folders. You should find what you want to remove there. If not, you my have to look under your user name -> start menu -> programs

How can I delete certain items that appear when I click on Start.... Run
I was afraid to run that attachment. It looked too much like a file that,
when run, would clear my Start-Run items. I don't want to do that. Most of
them are hard to remember commands that I want to keep. Guess I'll try that
Registry correction another guy offered.
