start>run box missing

My start>run box is missing. Tried Win key + R; I got a
error message, please see system administrator. Is there
some tweak file I can massage to bring back my run box? R
click on Start>properties>customize does not display "Run
Box." ??? Other suggestions?
 
right click on start and go to properties.
go to start menu/adjust
go to advanced
put a check mark next to the "run" command
click OK
click apply/OK...and now it should be back in your start
list.
