Start Programs

I would like to change the programs that start when Windows XP Professional
is started. I open the msconfig file and change the settings for the
programs that start with Windows but receive an error message "access denied
may need to sign on as administrator." I am the designated administrator on
the computer. Is there a way that a can make these changes or do I need to
sign on in a different manner that allows the changes to be made.

That is fine - you are the administrator, but are you at the moment. Try
Ctrl-Alt-Del to tell you. If you want some real changes:

You can use the startup program from mlin.net instead of msconfig and that will
suffice in most cases. It is FOC.
