When Start > Programs is used, three columns of programs are displayed.
These three columns plus the column displayed when start is clicked fill the
screen. There are 7 additional entries that do not display. There needs to
be a 4th column. My current redolution is 1028 x 768. If a higher screen
resolution is used, I can see the missing programs.

What needs to be done to that the additional entries can be seen with a
resolution of 1028 x 768?

I'm using the "classic view" with Xp Pro, sp2.

Thank you.

Three is all you get. Do some housecleaning / organizing. Create some
subfolders and group similar entries in them.

Thank you. I've got my work cut out.

You can probably guess, that is not what I wanted to hear. I was not aware
that three was the limit.

Thanks.

You're welcome. The other option is to set it to scroll which gives you
one column and a scroll arrow at the bottom. To do so right click Start
| Properties | Start Menu - Customize | Advanced. Put a tic mark in
Scroll Programs.

Thank you. The scroll option is a much better choice and allows me to
continue to be lazy and not organize into sub folders.

Again, thank you and now I can see everythng listed.

Has no one ever bothered to write an "all programs" organizer for those of
us with lot's of programs? I've been searching for over an hour, and came
upon this thread. Guess I'll have to learn a little programming and try to do
it myself. :)

Cool. Been looking for a project to do and learn something about programming.

Anyone know if Visual Basic Express will suffice? Thank you.
