start menu

The start menu is at the top left corner of the sreen. How can I put it back
to the lower left part of the screen?

Try "right click" on it and drag it back to the bottom.

Do you mean the Taskbar?

Right click the taskbar, then click to clear the Lock Taskbar option.

Left click, in the middle of the Taskbar, hold down the button and drag the
Taskbar down to the bottom.

Right click the taskbar, then click Lock the Taskbar.

Now it can't be moved or resized unless the Lock Taskbar option is cleared
again.
