This may sound like a simple problem, but I don't know how to fix it!?
I have programs that start up when I log on and I want to stop it...how do I
do that?

If you look under start/all programs/startup........you will find some
..........take off waht you dont want
If you click start/run then type in "msconfig" a box will open.......click the
"startup" tab and up will come a list of programs that start.
Uncheck what you dont want to start....be sure you know the right
program........then reboot.

The best way to stop programs from starting up is to right click icons in
the system tray one at a time, and check that there is a facility to prevent
auto starting.. look in each of the program properties.. that way, you will
get no nasty surprises.. if you have no luck, follow the advice from the
other reply..
