Start Menu Programs Sorting

The sorting of newly installed programs seems a bit
messed up. Instead of being sorted among the old programs
in alphabetical order, they get to the bottom of the list
(where they are sorted in alphabetical order). How can I
get the programs to be sorted among the previously
installed ones automatically? (without having to "sort by
name" the menu)

You can't. Blame the Win95/NT4 customers who bitched and bitched and bitched till MS made it work this way.
