Right-click the Start button and select Properties from the context menu. Under the "Start Menu" tab, click Customise. Scroll down to the Documents item, in the list of Start Menu features. Select the radio button "Don't display this item". Click OK. Documents has now been removed from the Start Menu. Hope it helps,

G Guest Oct 15, 2007 #3 I have just the opposite question. Somehow I have "lost" documents from my start menu - how do I put it back on? When I right click properties and scroll down in customize documents are checked as a link. Thanks in advance for help.
