Start Menu -All Programs is empty

I have a user running Windows XP Professional and when he clicks on 'Start'
then 'All Programs', the menu does not open up. Normally you would see all
of your applications in the start menu, but nothing happens by either
clicking on all programs or hovering over it. I have never seen this before.
Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks! Eric

I have the same problem. It just happened after I installed service pack 2
for XP Home edition.
