i had a great way 2 start my program very first when the pocket pc was reset. it was as easy as set in the registry under hkey_local_machine.init the sub key launch60 to the path and file i wanted 2 start. well all this with pocket pc2002. now with pocket pc 2003 the registry keys r there but while resetting the ppc seems not 2 notice the keys at all and just starts the shell32 as normal. does anyone know why or know where a auto start now needs 2 b placed in ppc2003

is there even a better way

Put the app, or a shortcut to it, in the \Windows\Startup folder.

hi chris
thank you 4 the idea. there is just 1 bad thing about the autostart. b4 it would start the program the user would be able u press on start or so and in this case get back into all the playing gaming parts of a pocket pc. since we want them only 2 run the machine controllers data transfer i look for a way where the user has no chance 2 ever get back on this home window with the start button.

any idea how i could do that?
