When starting computer it goes straight to desktop but
when resuming from standby the computer goes to logon
screen and I have to click on my user name. Can I set XP
to go straght to desktop from standby? Thanks
 
Right-click desktop > Properties > Screen saver > Uncheck "On resume display
welcome screen"

in Control Panel - Power Options - Advanced, uncheck 'Prompt for
password when computer resumes from Standby'
