Standby Mode

This may sound like a silly question, but I cannot find an
answer in the online help.

What do I do to "wake up" my computer when I put it in
standby mode. The only thing I have ever found is to turn
off the power strip and push teh poer button.

I have tried almost every combination of function keys and
control and alt buttons.

the powerbutton should turn it back on
