Standby and Notifications of Updates

When there is a Windows Update notification my XP 2 comes out of standby. Is
there any way to avoid this without turning off the cable modem when the
systen goes into standby?

I've alredy disabled wake on LAN, as well as 'Wake on Pattern' "Wake on
Magic Packet" and VLAN Support. Any others I should disable?
