I have Front Page 2003, and am very new at designing. I have discovered that

It has nothing to do with the browser, it depends on what fonts the user has installed on their
machine. The default font for most browser when no font is specified, is Times Roman.

The standard Windows fonts, are Arial, Verdana, Times Roman and a few others.

The fonts are standard for the operating system, has nothing to do with the
browser.

You don't have to keep to the few that have been suggested. Many of
FrontPage 2003's Themes also offer these:
Bookman Old Style
Century Gothic
Trebuchet MS

If you want to be creative with a page header, create an image.

Unfortunately Bookman Old Style, and Century Gothic are not websafe....

I think I understand now that it is the operating system, not the browser
that defines the fonts. You all have been very helpful and provided some good
links. Thanks for the help.
