The standard button toolbar (back button, up one level) is gone from my
folders. In fact I can't there are no toolbars at all. I can't right click to
modify, I can't stretch or resize to give any area to right click on.

The only solution I have is to navigate my system and network folders using
Internet Explorer.

How can I bring the toolbars back?

If you can still see the menus, go to View | Toolbars ....choose Standard
(and Address, if you wish)
If you can't see anything, press F11.

f11 worked - jusy wondering what this toggles on/off? I suppose I hit it by
accident although I do not remember doing that
