Just a couple of points you might find useful.
I've used Pryme with W95, it works just fine.

I've found that setting the frame rate too high can result in crashes.
If this is a problem try it at about 12-15 fps.

When the program crashes it sometimes wipes your carefully honed
settings - so I found it helpful to keep a copy of the /profiles
folder as a backup.
I've had some success using two cameras by duplicating the pryme
folder and renaming it as pryme2, along with the executable, and
duplicating the registry entries, again renamed pryme2.
